Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. She began her teaching career in Maury County teaching Reading to Kindergarten and 1st grade. Brent Jones was her UT Martin crush. They then moved to Thompsons Station. Bethesda Elementary was where she first began teaching the fourth grade. Between 1999 and 2000 she continued teaching while earning her Masters of Instruction from Trevecca Nazarene University. In 2000, she retired from the classroom after welcoming their youngest son Baylor. Ashley has dedicated the last fifteen years in promoting the growth of children in her church, as well as the wider community. Ashley has worked as an educator and leader in Thompson Station's Preschool and Students Ministry for 13 years. Ashley and her family were homeschooled for three years. As they homeschooled students attended a tutorial at which Ashley taught History in Kindergarten and First Grade. God has shown her family that although she enjoyed being at home with her children and having time with them but it was time for Ashley to go back to the classroom. Brent and Ashley are the parents of five kids. Silas Eliza and Cruz are all at GCA. Baylor is who is a GCA graduated, is a student at UT Martin, where he is a baseball player at UT Martin. Callan also a GCA graduate, is enrolled at Western Kentucky University. The family is energetic and loves hunting, fishing and supporting one another in sport.
